The play cost of operations and events is increased by 1.

You can find Donut in the park on Thursday afternoons, playing backgammon. You want his attention, the price is always the same: a cup of coffee and a donut. That buys you a seat at the backgammon table, and you have until he beats you to talk business and set the price.

Reviews

Welcome to Reviewing the Little Boot Icon, an unfortunately named series of reviews for Reboot-modified cards. Today's review: Donut Taganes, the most annoying card in the game unless you are only on PAD Campaigns and the like.

  • Changes: Influence cost 2>0.

  • Pros: Make Green Level Clearance nothing but a draw engine, and make Beanstalk Royalties really bad. All operations are annoyed by this. Some people use this with Laramy Fisk: Savvy Investor to make beneficial Fisk triggers more likely. Getting handed more operations than you want to play is really annoying, especially when Fisk comes running in with HQ Interface to steal any agendas you drew. You can tutor Donut Taganes with Hostage for max tax.

  • Cons: You have to subsist on non-event economy, as Sure Gamble is really crappy now.

6/10 Underrated, has a really toxic build out of Iain Stirling: Retired Spook.
