Welcome to Reviewing the Little Boot Icon, an unfortunately named series of reviews for Reboot-modified cards. Today's review: Cyber Threat, a great tool for Reina Roja's econ denial toolbox.
Changes: Play cost 1>0.
Pros: Get the benefits of the Corp rezzing (outside of Nasir Meidan triggers) without the downside of hitting Archers unprepared. This can get fun when there are multiple servers and the Corp has limited cash. Say you pick the remote.
- If the Corp rezzes, you can now run HQ or R&D while the Corp has less money.
If they don't rez, OG Blackmail 'em.
This is also fun with Collective Consciousness or Rook.
Cons: Priorities are more difficult to coordinate, if you draw this during the middle of your turn, you have to wait to play it. You can't stack the run with Account Siphon. Reina Roja: Freedom Fighter decks are usually super cramped and don't have room for jankier cards.
6/10 Underplayed.
