Welcome to Reviewing the Little Boot Icon, an unfortunately named series of reviews for Reboot-modified cards. Today's review: Marcus Batty, a janky one-shot Caprice Nisei, at least on the surface.
Changes: Limit 1 per deck. This was at rez cost 0<1 for a long time, but due to his having a great matchup against Andy for no good reason, he got hit with the Global Food Initiative treatment.
Pros: Shoot a Rototurret in a Runner's face regardless of if they have a Faerie or not. Cheaper than Caprice Nisei, and only 3 influence instead of 4.
Cons: Only 1 trash cost, if you lose the psi game, that's it until you install another one of these. Keegan Lane is an alternative. Limit per deck sucks.
7/10 Nothing like using Rototurret to blow up the Runner's killer as they approach the ice, then shooting another one of their programs and bouncing them. This dude is the closest thing to a single moment where the Runner loses than anything outside of SEA Source. Too bad you can only do it once.
