FlakManiak 5

This is my fairly-normal (sort of!) Stealth Kit deck. Its concepts are pretty-simple: Obviously you have a good Stealth rig and so have that kind of lategame power. Your plan is sometimes just "normal Stealth Shaper lategame". Kit is obviously-synergistic with Stealth for two reasons: One is that Refractor is the best Decoder, and the other is that Refractor is the best Decoder. By the first I mean the obvious "you get to use Refractor more" point, but by the second I mean that your gameplan early-on can be "Refractor and go". In my Kit decks I play 3x Refractor for this reason, just to draw it as-early as I can. Refractor and a single Stealth card lets you facecheck almost anything safely, and get in lots of places. You want to check every layer of ICE as it comes down. (Also obviously, being great against one layer slows the corp's scoring down a lot, which is good for your slow gameplan.)

The second contrast in this deck is the HQ-pressure cards: It's really-hard for the opponent to defend R&D properly against this deck, or any Stealth deck. So what happens when you have powerful HQ pressure too? Originally the deck was on 2x Wanton on a lark. Eventually I realized that Bhagat is a super-nasty fork. If they commit enough HQ-ICE that you're not getting in there for free, that's really expensive and probably means R&D is significantly weaker! These two slots are the ones that would normally be "2x Legwork" in a regular Shaper deck.

As for the other cards, I think that Refragmenter is very powerful. If you start attacking R&D early, you can use it to send all the ICE (or all the non-Code Gate ICE!) to the bottom. I believe that usually you're supposed to leave one stale card on top when you're done. Refragmenter + Cartographer also represent 36 draws between them, if all goes right. I like Cartographer a lot, and this deck is (aside from the one Kati!) set up well to use it. It should be easy to clear your hand of cheap installables so you can use the draw-4 first activation without overflowing.

The cards about which I'm not sure are the Kati Jones and the Subsidized Processors. You only need one Subsidized Processor, but you do have to draw it so I'm on three. It's great when things go right and you get to manually install 1-mem programs after installing it. It could maybe be 2x Akamatsu, 1x Astrolabe instead, for a certain type of convenience. I was on only 2x Self-Modifying Code for a while; not sure you need three. You might also fit a Clone Chip so that you aren't afraid of program-trashes/damage when you have Corroder-or-Dagger in hand, or Corroder on the board but no Dagger. Really sucks to slow down out of that fear.

Texturally, this Kit deck is somewhat similar to (and was a little inspired by) my post-rotation Cyberdelia Kit deck, that I played for a while during Kitara cycle. It also had the contrast of "Refractor and go" versus a powerful lategame rig. I like to interact with the corp at all stages of the game!
