Welcome to Reviewing the Little Boot Icon, an unfortunately named series of reviews for Reboot-modified cards. Today's review: Scorched Earth, the kill card.

  • Changes: Influence cost 4<5. TheBigBoy does not want you playing this out of faction unless you are prepared to make great sacrifices! No not netrunnerdb.com. Literal sacrifice.

  • Pros: This card wins games with SEA Source, forces the Runner to play around it with Plascrete Carapace or the like, which takes up precious deck-slots and for them, and creates fear if the Runner sees SEA Source or the card itself during a central access, they usually draw for their Plascrete immediately.

  • Cons: Kill combos are hard to land and expensive. Some Runners laugh at it, like Armand "Geist" Walker: Tech Lord, and his on-demand 10 cards from abilities.

10/10 This is what Weyland Consortium is all about.
