Welcome to Reviewing the Little Boot Icon, an unfortunately named series of reviews for Reboot-modified cards. Today's review: Zed 1.0, a ridiculously conditional piece of junk.

  • Changes: Strength 2<5.

  • Pros: Punish -breakers with brain-damage. Against Always Be Running, this is nuts. 5 strength is great against Mimic. If the Runner s through the ice in front of this, they are unlikely to be able to through this. Cheap to rez. Excellent with Project Wotan as multi-sub sentries are hard to break.

  • Cons: Often totally harmless. Runners usually refuse to through ice because of Heinlein Grid. We don't have Wetwork Refit in Reboot. Worthless as the outermost piece of ice on a server.

4/10 Extremely situational, usable as a 1x in a bioroid deck.
