Welcome to Reviewing the Little Boot Icon, an unfortunately named series of reviews for Reboot-modified cards. Today's review: Vulcan Coverup, which was previously mainly used with 24/7 News Cycle jank, now unused.
Changes: Meat damage 2 < 3.
Pros: 3 meat damage is quite annoying to the Runner, as if they use Plascrete Carapace to block it, their 1-counter Carapace is basically gone. Taking it on their hand is like a Snare! without the tag. Also, you get the point. 3/1s are easy to fast-advance and really easy to never-advance. I imagine this could be good out of Titan Transnational: Investing In Your Future FA decks if they have room for it.
Cons: Bad pub on steal means you can't really play this out of Argus Security: Protection Guaranteed, which would otherwise love this. Titan Transnational typically plays a very rigid agenda suite, and Project Atlas, Posted Bounty, and Hostile Takeover are not coming out, as are Oaktown Renovation. In the 3/1 department, prefers Firmware Updates.
5/10 Good, but the bad pub is a deal-breaker to be honest.
