Killer Wisp

this is the Gandiva Therapeutics list I've had modest success with, going 3-2 in the constructed league and matching well into some common archetypes

I'm playing Wisp bc i think it's underplayed and it works here to increase upgrade density. I haven't tested the list with the new agenda, and was playing 1 napd and 2 corp war before, but i think 0-waste is an upgrade whether its at 1 or 2 of them

let me explain Wisp

  1. good against AI (eater & faust especially, atman/oMind less so)
  2. good against big programs (Yog, Torch, Morning star (but who plays...), not femme)
  3. good for ducking siphon, which this deck can't do otherwise
  4. good for making the remote scary to check

this matters bc gandiva wants to not get siphoned, wants to make the remote tough to check, wants to install things in the remote, and struggles to play powerful ice suites. what we are doing here is playing the best gearcheck ice, playing fast, and opening up scoring windows when the runner checks the remote. snare will kill frequently bc we are playing fast.

in testing Gand was supposed to have this style where the corp always install in the remote and there is agenda-or-junk tension, but in practice The Sisters requires defending R&D and decks that can win on weak HQ or generate enough money simply dont struggle against this junk install based playstyle. this version can at least defend HQ competently when necessary

the final thing I found about Gand is that actually, the 5/3 agendas are kinda nice. With the sisters sometimes you can actually IAA them 2 turns in a row and win due to will-o (if ur rich as sin)

as far as my build tips for Gand, I would say play 3 GLC, try this agenda suite, and try and come up with a cheap ice suite that has tricks. Grail has been proposed, and I could see a strange build around repositioning cheap positional ice with Mise working with enough reps.
