this was the deck i used to win the finals of the summer 2026 constructed tournament against @TheBigBoy who had been playing reg(-ass? are we still doing the ass?) Whizzard.

it began as a deck called "insanely beat whizz" featuring 3 Lotus 2 Power Shutdown. which is pretty silly.

as it happened, TBB had switched to Andysucker by the time we faced off at the top. somehow i made it to 5 points and didn't get my Ravens shutdown (just the Kwolek once). the final turn i bluffed 3/2 with a launch behind ice wall raven and used mise en place to put a lotus field on top, still awaiting the information about his remote codegate answer. next turn big brother psycho off the last click raven tag. was lucky to win it as my only play left (besides never-advancing the one Beale) was IAA behind dead ICE.

Troll can protect you from siphons if you're not floating a huge bank. for 1c, i think it's underrated. it was certainly the only ICE doing anything against Monkooky's awesome Sonia doomrig with clickless Chameleons that pay dividends to install. that was a tough, tough game and a serious(-ass?) deck.

of note is due diligence for power shutdown. although the power shutdown is often just straight up dead card
