Reviews

Welcome to Reviewing the Little Boot Icon: Identity Crisis! an unfortunately named spingoff to an unfortunately named series of reviews for Reboot-modified cards. Today's review: Cerebral Imaging: Infinite Frontiers, usually referred to as CI.

  • Changes: Minimum deck size 45<50. Together with the Accelerated Diagnostics nerf, and the non-existence of Hasty Relocation ( netrunnerdb.com ), Violet Level Clearance ( netrunnerdb.com ), and Bryan Stinson ( netrunnerdb.com ), stupid CI is all but dead. Nota bene: "stupid" is relative.

  • Pros: Colossal handsize once you get going, allowing you to turtle forever without discarding all your good stuff into Archives. You are more resistant to agenda flood. However, the real reason for CI is wombo-combo stupidity, as you can hold lots of pieces without compromising the other aspects of your game.

  • Cons: 50 minimum deck-size weakens the combo aspect. You need a lot of random junk in your deck and can't really act like a normal deck.

  • Playstyle: nrdb.reteki.fun Fast-advance all 7 points in 1 turn with a bunch of operations. Or nrdb.reteki.fun to do it across multiple turns. You can also try and use Accelerated Diagnostics to play SEA Source+Scorched Earth.

5/10 Almost as bad as Cybernetics Division: Humanity Upgraded and way more boring.
