Reviews

Welcome to Reviewing the Little Boot Icon: Identity Crisis! an unfortunately named series of reviews for Reboot-modified cards. Today's review: Cybernetics Division: Humanity Upgraded, the worst ID.

  • Changes: Influence limit 15<20.

  • Pros: You only need 5 brain damage to kill the Runner! Excellent statistics.

  • Cons: Echo Memvaults: Reality Reimagined is better, because Corp handsize loss is really annoying, acting almost like an HQ Interface. Mushin No Shin sucks these days. You aren't Haas-Bioroid: Engineering the Future.

  • Playstyle: This is Dunsch's Mushin deck, similar to the one he took to last place at Spring Champs 2024. Use Mushin No Shin on an Cerebral Overwriter or agenda, then advance it again to 4 tokens. If it's an Overwriter, and the Runner hits it, you are basically guaranteed to win. In fact, unlike most Mushin decks, you don't need the 4th token thanks to your ID! The idea is to put the Runner to 1 handsize so you can use Snare! or Neural EMP to finish them off. Or they can spend 3 a turn drawing cards to avoid death.

3/10 Needs more support, but Mushin No Shin is so gross that I really don't expect it.
