Welcome to Reviewing the Little Boot Icon, an unfortunately named series of reviews for Reboot-modified cards. Today's review: IT Department, Gondorian Fire ( ringsdb.com) but in Netrunner. What could go wrong? (Context: Gondorian Fire allows you to spend resources to turn your hero into a giant death machine for the phase. With Steward of Gondor (make way too many resources) and Tactics Boromir (who can unexhaust himself as many times as he wants) you could kill every single enemy in play. Blood of Numenor did the same thing for defense.)
Changes: You can only spend a power counter once per turn.
Pros: You can force a piece of ice down the Runner's throat if they don't have D4v1d! Decent trash cost, though you should ice this.
Cons: Takes forever to get enough power counters, Helium-3 Deposit synergy is not there at all. Only once per turn. You are spending a to make the Runner spend 1 unless they are on Datasucker. In any case, Corporate Troubleshooter is better, or else Experiential Data.
4/10 I don't want to figure this out, and honestly Janus 1.0 is already a thing.
