DEDICATED TO @AOWASHI

I played against the boi out of TWIY* about a year ago and I knew there was something there.

This deck is a hybrid tagging-FA-rush deck -- in short, an abomination! It is however, surprisingly good for what it is.

THE PLAN

do the normal TWIY* thing and play clearances while building a gearcheck remote. we play a few trick ICE to threaten the runner:

  1. the BOI. Errand Boy is actually brutal to break with mimic and usually pays for itself. It mostly goes on centrals. Sometimes they will think it's safe to skip the killer which plays into...

  2. the BITER. Anklebiter is a fun new card that threatens mimic rig players who try to cut corners. We don't play the 'dex so don't rez if it can be broken. It's very slot-efficient for what it does and the BP never matters unless you rez it badly.

  3. thomas the TANK engine. Look at this guy's face. He says NO! Sometimes you can get all the sucker counters here and then fire the BITER. Brutal! Also makes them have both d4 if you jam back-to-back threats.

the rest of the ICE is standard stuff.

primarly we want to be:

  • rushing out 1-2 3/2s without SanSan.
  • installing SanSan with a money lead (preferably at 4 points) when they start to check every install.
  • tagging them and playing whatever punish hurts the most to close out the game.

THE PLAYS

the deck has a couple of tricks:

  1. 1x TGTBT. This is cheeky but occasionally we can install this on top of SanSan to protect it or toss it into archives against a laundry/sucker deck without an archives shield (SecTest, Patron).

  2. 1x Breaking News. This can be game over on a hot SanSan but is not our primary gameplan. I actually just went up to 2x, 15 is a safety valve that is actually a crutch, while BN provides proactive outs vs. decks that can pressure centrals against us early.

Always be rushing!!!
