we have Hard-Hitting News at home

i played this for 2 constructed leagues. it's pretty strong but very RNG and draw-order dependent.

the basic strategy is pretty simple, go extremely fast and punish the runner with SEA->Big Brother. you have a few things going for you that normal Scorch decks don't:

• you can severely slow the runner with SEA->Big Brother well before you draw your kill combo
• in extreme scenarios you can kill through plascrete with SEA -> Big Brother then next turn Scorch Scorch Scorch/Traffic
• Posted Bounty -> Big Brother is a real threat
• you're pretty siphon-resilient - tags have to be cleared ASAP in case of Big Brother

a couple cards i specifically wanna highlight are Long-Term Investment and Rate Hike. They're two of the best cards in the deck, don't cut them.

LTI: install naked, ice it when it has 4c or 6c on it. PAD can be ignored, this HAS to die or you get filthy rich.

Rate Hike: this card deserves a whole essay on how to use it. against some decks, you can slap it down turn 1 and the runner can't name more than 2c or they lose their whole first turn. play it when the runner steals CAMB and threaten to midseason them. maybe you already have midseason in hand and you make the runner pay 3c to save yourself 3c. it's great, play it aggressively.

CAMB: don't believe the Agenda text, this is a drip econ card, put it behind ice even if the runner can get in, and protect it with a steely glare across the table.

Things to try: swap a CDO or PAD to Expo Grid? swap Eli for something? 1 Atlas -> Posted? the ice could probably use some fiddling with too, i still haven't found a suite i'm completely happy with.
