Welcome to Reviewing the Little Boot Icon, an unfortunately named series of reviews for Reboot-modified cards. Today's review: Clone Chip, the gold standard of program recursion.
Changes: Influence 2<3. This conversation happened on the Reboot Discord: Meryu: "Noise is over here asking for a crumb of Clone Chip." Dan: "And what did you do with your Clone Chip last time, Noise?"
Pros: Install a program from the heap at instant speed, which is why Noise: Hacker Extraordinaire can't have it, since instant speed Parasite is too much. Exile: Streethawk can draw 2 cards from this, and seed his heap with Sharpshooter and the like to be able to react to anything he wants, even using it as a sort of Sports Hopper to avoid death. Armand "Geist" Walker: Tech Lord also loves it for the same reason, especially with Shiv, Spike, and Crowbar. You also require rigshooter decks to use Chronos Project or Blacklist to make you eat a sentry without breakers.
Cons: High influence cost, meaning Noise: Hacker Extraordinaire can't really use it without losing Aesop's Pawnshop which is more essential. You have to pay the install cost of the program.
9/10 Best hardware, in my opinion.
