Reviews

Welcome to Reviewing the Little Boot Icon, an unfortunately named series of reviews for Reboot-modified cards. Today's review: Whizzard: Master Gamer, also known as Dumblefork.

  • Changes: Influence limit 15>12. This is a huge nerf, and since Whizzard is kinda weak in Reboot and his worst matchup is now very popular (any kind of rush.), I feel that he would have been better with just 2. However, he is a hate ID, and so can't exactly be good.

  • Pros: built in Super-Scrubber to ruin Near-Earth Hub and IG's day from turn 1.

  • Cons: Low influence.

  • Playstyle: Slot ice destruction like Forked, Knifed, and Spooned, along with Parasucker and D4v1d to shred apart RP's giant board state like a boss. Gagarin Deep Space: Expanding the Horizon groans at the rumor of your presence, and Foodcoats frantically tries to score their Global Food Initiative and NAPD Contracts before you can contest the remote. Centrals are your oyster, since you can trash those Eve Campaigns on R&D and keep digging. But, there's a catch. To take full advantage of your ability, your resulting deck is very slow and hates when Rush or Midrange start windmilling agendas like there's no tomorrow. Harmony Medtech: Biomedical Pioneer lets you keep that Medical Breakthrough and SanSans the other 2. You're in the dust, frantically trying to Inject a Mimic and Déjà Vu it. Suddenly, you realize why silver bullets are weak.

7/10 Better than Edward Kim: Humanity's Hammer most of the time.
